St. James Cottage

St James Cottage looks after a group of up to five with three upstairs bedrooms: a super-king-size, a king-size and a single. It stands in the village of St Cleer on the south-east side of Bodmin Moor, with a pub 0.1 mile away.

You enter with a step up into the property and another step up into the lounge. The sitting room is built around a woodburning stove, with gas central heating for the rest of the house, and the kitchen/diner has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is Wi-Fi and a Freeview TV with a DVD player, and a cloakroom on the ground floor.

The bathroom has a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower. Outside is a private courtyard, which is not enclosed, and there is off-road parking for one car. A highchair and cot can be provided on request. The nearest shop is 2.1 miles away.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, no smoking is allowed, and the cottage is for holiday and leisure stays only. Best for a family or small group with dogs, but with an open courtyard and steps at the front door it is less good for toddlers who wander.
