The Dairy

The Dairy is a 2-bedroom reverse-level cottage at Hopsland Holidays near St Cleer on the southern edge of Bodmin Moor, sleeping 4 in two bedrooms with 1 bathroom. The layout is inverted: both bedrooms and the bathroom sit on the lower ground floor, while the open-plan living space with kitchen and an electric flame-effect fire occupies the upper floor to make the most of the countryside views. A cloakroom provides an extra WC downstairs.

Outside, the rear garden has a patio and lawn with a BBQ, and parking is available for two cars. Oil central heating runs throughout. Dogs are welcome, with up to two dogs accepted per booking.

Plaidy Beach is 9.8 miles, and East Looe Beach is 10.2 miles - roughly a 20-minute drive to the south coast. Bodmin Moor is directly accessible from the village: Golitha Falls, a series of waterfalls on the River Fowey, is within a few miles. The Hurlers stone circles on Minions Moor are also close by. St Cleer is a small granite village with a pub and a medieval holy well.

Good for dog owners who want a quiet Bodmin Moor base with space for outdoor walks straight from the property. Less good for those prioritising beach proximity.
