St Moritz Hotel

St Moritz Hotel sits between Polzeath and Rock, close to Trebetherick and within reach of the Camel Estuary. The hotel has a Cowshed Spa with a swim-out hydro pool, sauna, steam room, and an outdoor pool with tennis courts alongside a newly renovated gym and studio classes.

Two restaurants operate on-site, with breakfast served at guests' own pace and an evening menu built around minimal-waste, seasonal cooking. Rooms range from standard hotel rooms and suites to 4-star self-catering apartments and houses, with an e-shuttle service to local areas and a guest concierge desk. Dogs are welcome in designated stays, and accessible rooms are available.

Greenaway Beach is around 500 metres away, with Daymer Bay 700 metres and Polzeath Beach roughly 1,000 metres, all within walking distance of the hotel. Port Isaac and Padstow are both a short drive further along the coast. The Cowshed treatment menu draws on the Soho House brand, the only Cowshed spa located outside a Soho House property, and is open to non-residents as well as overnight guests.

Best for a spa break or a family holiday that wants beach access without a long drive, and for guests wanting hotel service alongside self-catering options on the same site. Less good for a tight budget stay, since the spa and dining are priced at the upper end for this stretch of coast.
