Bramble

Bramble is a one-bedroom shepherd's hut on Pengelly Farm at Burlawn, a hamlet between Wadebridge and Padstow, sleeping 2. It has a private hot tub, a wood burner, an open fire, wifi, parking, and a garden. Saturday changeover, with check-in from 5pm and check-out by 10am. The bedroom is on the ground floor.

Two bathrooms serve one bedroom, which is unusually generous for a hut. The wood burner and open fire make it viable year-round. The hot tub is private, not shared. Dogs are not accepted.

The Camel Trail runs directly below the farm - a flat, traffic-free path that reaches Padstow in about 4 miles north and Wadebridge in roughly 1 mile south. Bike hire is available in Wadebridge town. Daymer Bay beach and its estuary swimming is 6 miles northwest. Greenaway Beach is 6.4 miles and Port Gaverne is 6.5 miles along the north coast. Port Gaverne Beach is the nearest beach, about 6.5 miles away as the crow flies.

Best for couples wanting a cosy rural base with direct Camel Trail access - the combination of hot tub and path-side location is hard to replicate. Less good for families or dog owners.
