Giggles

Giggles is a one-bedroom cottage for two in Wadebridge, set on one level. Changeover is on Fridays. Dogs are welcome and parking is on site.

The cottage layout covers a bedroom, a single bathroom, a kitchen with washing machine, and a lounge with WiFi. The cottage has gas central heating, and check-in is from 4pm. Being fully on one level makes it a practical choice for guests who prefer to avoid stairs. The garden is to the front or side, with off-street parking for one vehicle.

Wadebridge sits at the midpoint of the Camel Trail - the 18-mile traffic-free cycling path running from Padstow to Bodmin. Cycle hire is available a few minutes from the cottage. Padstow harbour, with Rick Stein's restaurants and the Camel Estuary passenger ferry to Rock, is around 8 miles away. Polzeath Beach and Daymer Bay are each about 7 miles north. The town itself has a two-screen cinema and independent shops along the main street.

Best for couples who want a one-level cottage with Camel Trail access and inland north Cornwall as a base. Less good for those wanting immediate sea access - the nearest sandy beaches are a 15-minute drive, and the location is a market town rather than a coastal village.
