Sunnydale

Sunnydale is a three-bedroom hillside house for four in Looe, split across a super-king zip-and-link room, a king room and a bunk room, with one bathroom for the group.

Decking and the garden look out over Looe's harbour and out to sea. A wood burner and a barbecue cover evenings in and outside. Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher and washing machine are included, and one dog can stay. The open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner are on the ground floor with a WC, and the three bedrooms and the bathroom, which has a shower over the bath, are upstairs. The hillside position means steps up from the road, so it may not suit guests with limited mobility.

East Looe Beach is 0.4 miles away, sheltered by the harbour walls and lifeguarded in summer. Hannafore Beach, 0.6 miles from the house, has some of the best rock pools in Cornwall, and Plaidy Beach, a quieter mixed sand-and-shingle cove, is 1.1 miles away. The South West Coast Path runs along the coast in both directions, with Looe's narrow harbourside streets a short walk downhill.

**Best for:** a small family wanting sea views, a wood burner, a garden and room for one dog close to Looe's harbour. **Less good for:** groups needing more than one bathroom, guests who can't manage a hillside approach, or those needing verified step-free access.
