Hannafore Beach, on the West Looe side, is 0.6 miles from the cottage and has some of the best rock pools in Cornwall. Plaidy Beach, quieter and mixed sand-and-shingle, is 0.9 miles away. Looe Island, a Cornwall Wildlife Trust nature reserve reached by boat from the harbour, and the South West Coast Path are also close by.
