The Bolt Hole is a first-floor 2-bedroom apartment in Downderry, sleeping 4 across 2 bathrooms.

Two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms keep the layout practical for two couples or a small family: the double has a TV and an en-suite bath with a shower over it, and the twin is served by a separate shower room. Changeover day is Friday, with check-in from 3pm and check-out by 10am, and the nearest beaches after Downderry are Plaidy Beach at 3 miles and East Looe Beach at 3.7 miles.

Downderry Beach is 400 metres from the door - a south-facing mixed sand-and-shingle stretch about a mile long with views across Whitsand Bay. The village pub is a short walk away. The coast path east leads to Seaton on largely flat ground with broad sea views; head west and the path gets more dramatic toward Looe, about 6 miles along the coast. Plymouth is roughly 30 minutes by car across the Tamar Bridge.

**Best for:** Couples and small families wanting a low-maintenance base with beach access and no hills between front door and sand.

**Less good for:** Guests needing ground-floor access (this is a first-floor property).
