Exposed beams run above the open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area, giving the accommodation one connected main living space. Closer to hand, the Lappa Valley Steam Railway runs narrow-gauge trains through a former mining valley about 2 miles east near St Newlyn East, and Perranporth's beaches are around 5 miles north-west.
