The Corn Mill Coombe

The Corn Mill Coombe is a converted former mill cottage in Coombe, a riverside village on the Fal reached by narrow lanes that wind down through woodland to the water. It sleeps four in two bedrooms with two bathrooms.

Original mill features remain throughout, and guests can walk across the owners' fields, orchards and woodland, a quieter alternative to a village-centre cottage. Parking, EV charging and a washing machine are included, and dogs are welcome. The kitchen has an electric oven, two-ring electric hob, electric Raeburn, microwave and a fridge with an ice compartment, and the Smart TV includes Netflix. Driveway parking is for three cars.

Coombe sits within the Tregothnan Estate, home to England's only tea plantation, and old photographs of the village show oyster punts moored along the creek from its trading past. The King Harry Ferry, linking the Roseland to Truro, operates a short distance downstream. Truro, with its cathedral and museum, is about 2.5 miles north, and Falmouth is roughly 6 miles south. Porthpean Beach is the nearest named beach at 5.3 miles; Pentewan Beach is 5.4 miles and Charlestown Beach 5.7 miles.
