The Cottage

The Cottage is a two-bedroom cottage for four on the A39 at St Kew Highway, set among fields between Wadebridge and Port Isaac. The village grew up along the Atlantic Highway rather than around a harbour or green, so it works best as a driving base rather than a walk-everywhere destination. The nearest beach is 4.0 miles away.

One bathroom serves the two bedrooms. Groups needing a particular bed arrangement should confirm it before booking. An open fire sits indoors, and Wi-Fi, a dishwasher and a washing machine are included.

The enclosed garden has a barbecue and fire pit. Parking is provided, and two well-behaved pets are welcome, though the garden is not fully secure so take care with them. Changeover day is Saturday.

Port Isaac's harbour is about 6 miles west, and Polzeath and Rock are roughly 8 miles away via St Endellion. Port Gaverne Beach is 4.0 miles away on the north coast, Tregardock Beach is 5.8 miles and Daymer Bay is 6.4 miles from the property. Each requires a short drive from this inland base. **Best for:** a small family or two couples wanting an enclosed garden, an open fire and a central base for several north Cornwall beaches and villages.
