The Deck St Eia House

The Deck at St Eia House is a one-bedroom loft apartment above St Ives harbour, sleeping two in a double room. Vaulted ceilings rise over the open-plan living area, while the decked roof terrace has a bistro table and chairs with views across the rooftops to the harbour and bay. One bathroom serves the apartment, and the open-plan design keeps the loft light and airy.

Wi-Fi is included. Dogs are not accepted. Garden access here means the roof terrace rather than a private lawn. The absence of parking is a significant trade-off in this central St Ives position, though it also means no drive is needed once guests have arrived.

St Ives has drawn artists since the 1880s, when the Atlantic light attracted painters and sculptors including Barbara Hepworth, Ben Nicholson and Patrick Heron; the Tate St Ives gallery now stands on Porthmeor beach.
