The Garden Apartment

The Garden Apartment is a ground-floor 1-bedroom annexe at Bossiney, on the edge of Tintagel village, sleeping 2 with 1 bathroom. The whole annexe is on one level, and it is one of the few dog-friendly options in the area that sits this close to both village and coast.

Inside, the annexe has a wood burner, which keeps it warm through cooler months. A washing machine and wifi are included. A small patio overlooks the smallholding next door and comes with a charcoal BBQ for summer evenings. Parking is on-site. One well-behaved dog is welcome at a surcharge of £60 per week. The property is not suitable for children, including infants.

Bossiney Cove Beach - a secluded sandy cove accessible at low tide, with turquoise water and caves to explore - is around 600 metres away. Tintagel Castle (English Heritage, adult entry £14.80) is a short walk from the apartment, reached via the 2019 footbridge spanning a 58-metre gorge. Rocky Valley with its 3,000-year-old rock labyrinths is within walking distance, and the South West Coast Path passes close by for longer routes in either direction.

**Best for:** Dog-owning couples; anyone wanting to base themselves at Tintagel Castle and Bossiney Cove without the noise and footfall of the village centre. Guests who need step-free access should check with the owner before booking.

**Less good for:** Families, as children including infants are not accepted; guests expecting a high-end kitchen setup.
