The Hideaway

The Hideaway is a first-floor one-bedroom apartment in Tintagel for two, just off the high street, with many shops and cafes nearby. Low beams run through the rooms, and the double bedroom has a pocket-sprung mattress.

The shower room has a walk-in shower, basin and WC. The open-plan living space has a kitchen area with an oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, plus a dining and sitting area with a TV. Air source heating and WiFi are included, along with fuel, power, bed linen and towels. It sleeps two.

Outside is a private garden, and there is one allocated off-road parking space. A cot and highchair are available. The shop is 0.1 mile away, the pub 0.2 miles and the beach 0.6 miles.

Dogs are welcome; if you are bringing more than one, check with the owners before you book. It is no smoking. Tintagel Castle and the South West Coast Path can both be reached from the apartment, with Camelford 5.9 miles away and Wadebridge 13 miles. Trebarwith Strand, Boscastle Harbour and St Nectan's Glen are all within driving distance.

It suits a couple who want a garden and a walkable village; the first-floor position makes it less good for anyone who prefers to avoid stairs.
