The Little Barn

The Little Barn is a single-storey studio barn conversion near Tintagel, sleeping two, with open-plan living space anchored by a wood-burning stove. The property opens onto a private terrace, includes parking for up to two cars, and welcomes dogs.

The studio layout holds a 5ft double bed at one end of the main living space, with a heavy curtain for privacy. The shower room and kitchen sit alongside, and the wood burner keeps things warm through cooler months. Wi-Fi runs throughout; dishwasher, washing machine, and EV charging are all on site.

The terrace runs off the living space with outdoor seating and a quiet rural aspect. Tintagel Castle - managed by English Heritage, accessed via a footbridge across to the island - is a short walk from the barn. The Old Post Office, a medieval stone farmhouse owned by the National Trust, sits in the village itself. Trebarwith Strand, one of North Cornwall's widest beaches at low tide, is around ten minutes' drive south. The South West Coast Path passes close by, running north towards Boscastle and south towards Port Isaac.

Best for couples seeking a quiet retreat with coast path access and Arthurian heritage on the doorstep. Less good for guests needing more than one bedroom or expecting restaurant and pub options within walking distance.
