The Nugget Widemouth Bay

The Nugget is a 3-bedroom coastal cottage at Widemouth Bay, 3 miles south of Bude on the north Cornwall coast. It sleeps 6 across one super-king, one twin, and one twin with 2'6" beds, and sits on a holiday park with sea views over Widemouth Bay. The surf beach itself is about 800 metres away - a 10-minute walk downhill.

The cottage has its own outdoor terrace with sliding doors from the living area. One dog is welcome in the garden. Inside, WiFi and a dishwasher are included. Guests also have access to shared on-site amenities: an indoor pool, spa, gym, games room, and bar - which sets this apart from a standalone rental, particularly in mixed-weather conditions.

Widemouth Bay is one of the north Cornwall coast's main surf beaches, with consistent Atlantic swell and multiple surf schools running lessons. RNLI lifeguards cover the beach from May through September. Bude is 3 miles north and has supermarkets, a tidal sea pool, the canal towpath for cycling, and Bude Castle Heritage Centre. Millook Beach, a quieter pebble cove, is about 1.2 miles south along the coast path.
