The Old Inn

The Old Inn is a B&B in Churchtown, the historic centre of Mullion on the Lizard. The building is a former Cornish pub, and five en-suite guest rooms sit above a bar serving locally sourced food. Full breakfast is included; packed lunches available on request. Parking and wifi are both free.

Each room has a private bathroom, tea and coffee facilities, and garden access. The garden is dog-friendly - all three rooms that take dogs have ground-floor or easy access. No cooking facilities in rooms, so guests eat in the bar or drive to nearby options.

Three beaches are within 2km. Polurrian Beach is 1km away - a south-facing sandy cove, sheltered and good for swimming. Poldhu Cove is 1.5km, site of the Marconi Centre where the first transatlantic radio signal was sent in 1901. Mullion Cove is 1.7km with a National Trust-maintained working harbour and dramatic cliff scenery. Kynance Cove, on the coast path 4 miles south, has some of the clearest water on the Lizard.

Best for couples or families who want the Lizard’s coast path on the doorstep without self-catering. Less suited to guests who need a kitchen, want a town-centre location with shops and restaurants, or are looking for a large holiday house feel. Dogs welcome.
