An Logh is a garden annexe for two on the edge of Helston. Its super-king-size bedroom can be arranged as twins by request, and one bathroom serves the property.

The first-floor living area sits beneath the eaves with Velux windows and a corner sofa. A slow cooker and DAB radio accompany the fitted kitchen. The enclosed seating area provides private outdoor space for two, separate from the wider garden it sits within. Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher and washing machine are included, and one dog is accepted. The shower room is off the entrance hallway, and a separate cloakroom with WC is on the first floor.

Loe Pool, Cornwall's largest freshwater lake, can be reached on foot through the Penrose Estate. Porthleven Beach is 2.8 miles away, Porthcew Rinsey Cove is 4.5 miles and Gunwalloe Church Cove is 4.7 miles, so a car helps for beach days even though the annexe suits a car-free stay around Helston itself. **Best for:** a couple wanting flexible beds, a compact kitchen and walking access towards Loe Pool. **Less good for:** guests unable to manage stairs to the eaves living room, travellers bringing more than one dog, or anyone seeking private leisure facilities.
