Higher Merther Farm Shepherds Hut

Higher Merther Farm Shepherds Hut is single-storey accommodation for two in Sithney, near Helston. It is a studio-style space: a king-size bed, a dining area and a sitting area with an electric fire all share the one room, and a kitchenette sits alongside.

The kitchenette has a gas hob, microwave, and a fridge with an ice box, plus a coffee machine. There is a TV and electric heating. The shower room is external to the hut, so guests step outside to reach a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Outside, an enclosed lawn and gravelled area has furniture for sitting out. Parking is off-road for one car. One well-behaved pet is welcome, and smoking is not allowed. WiFi is provided. The nearest shop is 2.6 miles away and the nearest pub 2.2 miles. From Helston, Porthleven is 3 miles, Falmouth 12 miles and Penzance 14 miles, and the local outings named for the area include Penrose Estate, Praa Sands and Helston Railway.

The hut suits a couple, with or without a pet. It is less good for anyone who wants a bathroom indoors, since the shower room is outside the hut.
