The Shippen

The Shippen is a three-bedroom cottage for six at Rosudgeon Farm, with two bathrooms serving the group - useful for a family or two couples sharing. A wood burner and open fire both feature inside, alongside WiFi, a dishwasher and a washing machine that support a full week's stay. Changeovers run on Saturdays.

Outside, the garden has a barbecue and space for dogs, and parking is included. Rosudgeon sits on the A394 between Penzance and Helston, on rising ground with views south across Mount's Bay. The village has one pub, the Falmouth Packet, and sits inside a working landscape of farmland and Cornish hedges.

Prussia Cove is 0.7 miles away, reached by footpath through the farmland - a series of small rocky coves named after an 18th-century smuggler. Piskies Cove is 0.8 miles from the cottage and Perranuthnoe Beach, which has a seasonal cafe, is 1 mile away. Marazion and St Michael's Mount are about 3 miles west along the coast road, and Helston's shops are roughly 6 miles east.
