The position here is the main draw. Piskies Cove is 700m on foot - a small, rocky inlet below the cliffs, accessed by a short path. Prussia Cove, 800m away, is a sheltered cove with clear water and a reputation among snorkellers and sea swimmers. Both sit within the Prussia Cove complex of coves and are largely off the mass-tourism circuit. Perranuthnoe, 1.4km east, is a more conventional sand beach with a cafe and surf hire.

Marazion and St Michael's Mount are a short drive west along the coast road. Helston, with its Flambards heritage park, supermarket, and the gateway to the Lizard, is around 6km south-east. The South West Coast Path runs past the coves directly below.

The apartment is well-placed for those who want coast path access and access to quieter coves rather than a main beach. Saturday changeover.

Right for couples or families who want a historic building, sea views, and smaller coves rather than a busy beach. Not great for those who need a wide sandy beach on the doorstep.
