The Snug Retallack

The Snug Retallack is a cottage that gives a party of up to 12 six bedrooms and six bathrooms - a practical ratio for several families or a group of couples sharing. A private hot tub, pool access, games facilities and a barbecue set up relaxed time on site, and a dishwasher and washing machine support a full week's stay. Dogs are welcome, and parking is included. The first bedroom is a super-king-size with an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a separate shower, and the games room has a Smart TV, table football and a scramble wall.

The property sits at Winnards Perch, a hamlet at the A39/A389 junction just north of St Columb Major, a former stannary town known for its Shrove Tuesday hurling match.

This is an inland base rather than a beachside one: Mawgan Porth is the nearest named beach at 5.3 miles, with Watergate Bay 5.7 miles and Bedruthan Steps Beach 5.8 miles further along the coast - all reachable by car in around 15 minutes. Newquay Airport is about 5 miles west and the Camel Trail at Wadebridge roughly 7 miles northeast.

**Best for:** a large group that will make full use of the six bathrooms, hot tub and pool. **Less good for:** guests wanting a walk-to-beach address.
