Sunbow at Retallack Resort

Sunbow at Retallack Resort is a detached four-bedroom lodge for eight at Retallack Resort & Spa, near Winnards Perch and St Columb Major in mid-Cornwall. Three bathrooms serve the group, and changeover day is Saturday.

Resort swimming pool access is included alongside the lodge's own dishwasher, Wi-Fi, parking and garden. On site, Retallack has a Wake Park, FlowRider, bar, shop and restaurant - enough to fill a rainy day without leaving the resort. A washer/dryer is included in the lodge. Upstairs there is a sitting room with a Smart TV and patio doors to a terrace, and outside there are two decked patio areas. Dogs are welcome.

The resort sits centrally for reaching both coasts: Mawgan Porth is 5.3 miles away, Watergate Bay 5.7 miles and Bedruthan Steps 5.8 miles, all on the north coast between Newquay and Padstow. Newquay Airport is about 5 miles west, and St Columb Major - known for its Shrove Tuesday hurling match through the streets - has a small supermarket, pubs and a pharmacy for daily supplies.

Guests wanting a specific mix of doubles and twins across the four bedrooms should check the bed layout before booking.
