The Studio At The Old Vicarage

Priests Cove at Cape Cornwall is 2.4 miles to the south-west - a working cove and the only stretch of coast in England designated as Cape. The Geevor Tin Mine Museum, one of the most complete remaining tin mine complexes in Europe, is half a mile along the B3306. Land’s End is under 10 miles, and the South West Coast Path connects both attractions on foot if guests prefer walking to driving.

Pendeen village is small but not isolated - St Just is 2 miles south with a pub, a supermarket, and an ATM. St Ives is around 10 miles away for galleries and restaurants. The area is well established for walking and industrial heritage tourism, and the cottage is suited to a two-night minimum stay given its compact size.

Suits couples or solo travellers who want a quiet, distinctive base in west Penwith at a reasonable price point. The architecture and setting are the main draw. Not great for guests who need WiFi - the amenities do not list it, and Pendeen’s rural location means mobile coverage is patchy. Families with young children would find the compact layout limiting.
