The enclosed garden provides outdoor space, and the house includes Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and parking. There is no hot tub, BBQ, or EV charging point. Dogs are not accepted. Daymer Bay Beach is 1.2 miles south - a sheltered, dune-backed sandy beach with calm water on the estuary side that is well suited to families and paddleboarding. Greenaway Beach is 1.7 miles away, and Polzeath Beach - the area's main surf beach with a beach break that works on most swells - is 2.2 miles north. The seasonal passenger water taxi to Padstow runs every 20 minutes during the day from Rock's waterfront; from Padstow the Camel Trail cycle path follows the estuary south to Wadebridge, 4 miles away. St Enodoc Church, where the poet John Betjeman is buried, sits among the dunes between Rock and Daymer Bay.

Best for: large family groups or two families travelling together who want estuary-side Rock with surf access at Polzeath close by. Less good for: those needing a hot tub or dog-friendly accommodation.
