The Tractor Shed

The Tractor Shed is a studio cottage for two on the Mesmear Estate near Polzeath, with a king size bed in the sleeping area and one bathroom. Host Charlie manages the booking.

The estate has a shared outdoor swimming pool, and the cottage itself has a wood burner, garden and BBQ for evenings in. A hot tub is included, though the listing does not confirm whether access is private or shared with neighbouring properties, so guests wanting a hot tub to themselves should check before booking. WiFi, parking and a dishwasher are included, but there is no washing machine. Dogs are not accepted here.

Polzeath Beach is 1.6 miles away, a half-mile stretch of north coast sand with left and right-hand surf breaks for every ability and several surf schools running lessons through the season. Greenaway Beach is 2.0 miles off, a quiet cove reached only on foot with rock pools rich in marine life, and Daymer Bay is 2.0 miles from the studio, a sheltered estuary beach with calm, shallow water. St Minver is the nearest town, a mile or so inland from Rock, and Port Isaac is roughly 8 miles north for a change of scene.

The pool and hot tub are the main on-site draws for a short break.
