Tradewinds

Tradewinds is a 5-bedroom house in Polzeath village, sleeping 10 across a super-king, 2 doubles, a twin, and a bunk room - a practical spread for two families or a larger group. The layout is inverted, with the main living space upstairs where floor-to-ceiling windows frame the garden and a wood burner anchors the lounge.

Four bathrooms, a dishwasher, washing machine, and Wi-Fi are included. Outside there is a garden, a BBQ, and parking for 4 cars, plus an EV charging point - unusual for a village property. Up to 2 dogs are welcome.

Polzeath Beach is 800 metres from the door, a half-mile surf beach with lifeguards in season, left and right-hand breaks, and multiple surf schools operating Easter through October. Greenaway Beach, a quieter sandy cove, is 700 metres in the other direction. Rock is about 2 miles south, with the water taxi crossing to Padstow - useful for a day out along the Camel Estuary.

**Best for:** Two families or a group of up to 10 wanting a surf-village base with enough bathrooms to manage morning changeovers; EV drivers; dog owners with up to 2 dogs.

**Less good for:** Those wanting a sea view - Tradewinds is in the village rather than on the cliff. No hot tub. The beach walk involves a modest hill both ways.
