Trebarfoote

Trebarfoote is a three-bedroom cottage for 6 set in an elevated position in Polruan, with sea and river views across to Fowey, Readymoney Cove and the Atlantic beyond. The cottage sits in a quiet pocket of the village with access to the South West Coast Path directly from the door.

Inside, the layout sleeps across a ground-floor double bedroom and first-floor king and twin bedrooms. A ground-floor WC sits alongside a family bathroom upstairs, and the living spaces are arranged to make use of the sea views from virtually every window.

Outside, a garden sits off the property with outlook across the Fowey estuary, and parking is included. Readymoney Cove lies 500 metres away (a sheltered sandy beach on the Fowey side, reached by passenger ferry), Lantic Bay is just over a mile's walk along the coast path as a National Trust sand cove, and Lansallos Beach sits 4.3 km east.

Polruan has a couple of traditional pubs, a village store and a cafe. The year-round foot ferry crosses to Fowey in minutes, while the car ferry leaves from Bodinnick 3 miles away. Bodinnick was the home of Daphne du Maurier and her family - Ferryside, her former house with blue shutters, is visible from the water. Fowey itself has a working high street with pubs, restaurants and galleries.
