Trelease is a three-bedroom cottage in Pendra Loweth, a holiday village near Falmouth, sleeping up to 6 with its own private hot tub in the garden.

French windows from the sitting room open onto a sheltered terrace with teak furniture for outdoor dining. Contemporary furniture runs through the three bedrooms upstairs, alongside a single family bathroom - worth noting for a house sleeping six. Downstairs, the well-equipped kitchen opens onto a dining area with a table for six and a sitting room with two sofas. There is a dishwasher, washing machine and EV charging point, though no wood burner or open fire for cooler evenings.

Maenporth Beach and Swanpool Beach are both about 0.9 miles away, with Gyllyngvase a further 1.3 miles round the coast toward Falmouth. On site, guests can use the tennis courts, children's play area and a seasonal indoor pool. Falmouth itself, with the National Maritime Museum and narrow streets of shops and restaurants, is about 2 miles away, and boat trips run from the harbour along the River Fal and up the Truro River.

Best for two families or a multi-generational group wanting a hot tub and space to spread out - the play area and highchair suit visiting grandchildren - and for guests happy with a shared, seasonal pool rather than a private one. Less good for anyone needing more than one bathroom for six people, or for those wanting to bring a dog, since Trelease does not accept pets.
