The first-floor cottage is on a single level, with six steps up to the front door. The open-plan lounge and dining area runs the length of the property, with a Smart TV at one end and a dining table at the other. The bedroom has a king-size (5ft) bed. There is a shower room and a kitchen with dishwasher. Outside, a balcony and shared garden are available, with a footpath that leads directly to the beach. Parking and wifi are included.

St Ives is just over a mile to the west - walkable via the South West Coast Path or reachable by train from Carbis Bay station. Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden are the main draws. Heading east from the beach at low tide, Porthkidney Sands connects to the Hayle Estuary RSPB reserve.

Best for a couple or solo walker wanting a dog-friendly base within steps of a quiet, sheltered beach. Note the six-step approach to the front door makes this less suitable for guests with mobility needs.
