The Camel Trail - an 18-mile traffic-free route converted from a Victorian railway line - begins at the northern edge of Padstow and runs to Bodmin. It covers both flat estuary sections and more elevated inland stretches. Bike hire is available in town. The Eden Project is 22 miles and typically a 35-minute drive.

Right for families of up to six who want Padstow's harbour town atmosphere at a reasonable price point. The bunk bedroom configuration suits younger children. Not great for adults-only groups who might find the bunk room impractical, or for those who need on-site parking as a fixed requirement.
