Villa Gallery 18 is a dog-friendly two-bedroom cottage in Carnon Downs, a quiet village 3 miles south of Truro set between the city and the Fal estuary. The villa sleeps four across two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with vaulted ceilings giving the interior more height and light than the exterior suggests.

The cottage is part of a small development sharing a communal pool and garden area. A BBQ is available for outdoor cooking, and EV charging is on site - useful for guests driving electric vehicles to Cornwall. WiFi and parking are included; no washing machine.

Castle Beach in Falmouth is 9.2km south, with Gyllyngvase Beach a further 100 metres along the seafront. Both are reachable in under 15 minutes by car. Trelissick Garden, a National Trust estate with woodland walks and estuary views, is under 10 minutes away. The Pandora Inn at Restronguet Creek - a 13th-century pub on the water - is a similar distance. Truro city centre is 10 minutes north, with a mainline rail station connecting to London Paddington.

Best for couples or small families with dogs who want a central base for Falmouth and Truro without the higher prices of the coast. Less suited to those wanting sea views or a private pool - this is a rural inland setting with a communal rather than exclusive outdoor space.
