Villa Gallery 8 is a two-bedroom villa in Carnon Downs, 3 miles south of Truro on the A39 corridor to Falmouth. The reverse floor plan puts living space upstairs and bedrooms below, with vaulted ceilings on the upper level giving the main room an open feel. It sleeps four across two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The villa is part of a small development with a communal pool, BBQ, and private garden. WiFi, parking, and a dishwasher are included. Unlike Villa Gallery 18 next door, this cottage does not have EV charging or dog-friendly facilities, so check before booking with a dog or an electric vehicle.

Falmouth is 9km south, with Gyllyngvase Beach - the town's most popular sandy beach - reachable in under 15 minutes. Swanpool Beach is 9.6km away, slightly quieter with a freshwater lagoon behind the sand. Trelissick Garden, a National Trust estate with walks down to the Fal estuary, is under 10 minutes by car. Truro city centre is 10 minutes north.

Best for couples or small families wanting a quiet inland base with pool access and day-trip range to Falmouth and the Roseland. The King Harry Ferry, a short drive south, crosses the Fal to connect to St Mawes and the Roseland without driving through Truro. Not dog-friendly, so unsuitable for guests travelling with pets.
