Westcliff Duplex Apartment

Westcliff is a two-bedroom duplex apartment on the West Looe side of the harbour, sleeping three. The master bedroom and the upper-floor lounge both look out across Banjo Pier to the harbour mouth and Rame Head beyond. You see the working fishing fleet leave on the morning tide.

The duplex layout puts the kitchen, living and dining rooms on the upper floor to lift the view above the rooftops. Two bedrooms and a single bathroom sit on the lower floor. Wifi, dishwasher and washing machine are included. Private off-street parking is rare in central Looe and a real advantage here.

West Looe village - shops, the pub, a bakery - is on the doorstep. The South West Coast Path runs west from the apartment through woodland to Talland Bay and on to Polperro (3 miles). Hannafore Beach, with some of the best rock-pooling on the south coast, is a 10-minute walk along the front. The Victorian bridge or the seasonal foot ferry crosses to East Looe Beach, the fish restaurants on the quay, and charter boats running shark and mackerel trips June to September.

Best for: couples or a small family wanting a working-harbour view with parking sorted. Less good for under-4s or anyone with mobility issues - internal stairs to the living area and steep pavements outside.
