Westcroft is a single-storey, 2-bedroom cottage in Millbrook on the Rame Peninsula, sleeping 5 across a double and a twin with an additional single, with 1 bathroom. The footpath to Whitsand Bay's clifftop is around 200 metres from the door - one of the shortest walks to Cornwall's longest undeveloped beach.

Inside, the layout suits a small family or a group of 5 travelling light. The garden provides outdoor space for sitting out, and WiFi and off-road parking are both included. No hot tub or wood burner, but the cottage is well placed for spending most of the day outdoors rather than inside.

Whitsand Bay runs for roughly 3 miles of sand backed by cliffs up to 300 feet high, facing south into the Atlantic. The beach attracts surfers and those wanting space, and is far less crowded than north Cornwall's main breaks. Kingsand and Cawsand - two connected fishing villages with a pub and a beach each - are under 4 miles away. Plymouth is accessible via the Torpoint ferry, around 20 minutes from the eastern end of the bay - useful for provisioning or a day in the city. The Rame Peninsula coast path runs above the cliffs with views toward Eddystone Lighthouse, roughly 10 miles offshore.

**Best for:** Families or couples who want access to a long, uncrowded beach without the north coast crowds; walkers using the Rame Peninsula coast path; day trips to Plymouth.

**Less good for:** Those who need evening entertainment on the doorstep - Millbrook is quiet, and Plymouth is the nearest city with restaurants and bars.
