Skylark View - Whitsand Bay

Skylark View is a three-bedroom lodge overlooking the Whitsand Bay coastline on the Rame Peninsula, with Antony as the nearest town. A twin, a double and a king-size room sleep six, with two bathrooms for the group.

A private hot tub sits alongside access to a shared indoor pool, giving guests two different water facilities. Large decking provides space for outdoor meals and the coastal outlook. The lounge, kitchen and dining room share one space with a fireplace and a TV with Chromecast for streaming. A study off the hallway has a built-in desk, and the king-size master bedroom has a TV and an en-suite. WiFi, parking, a dishwasher and washing machine are included, along with a garden. Dogs are not accepted at this lodge.

Cawsand Beach and Kingsand Beach are each 1.7 miles away, and Whitsand Bay itself is 1.9 miles, a 3-mile stretch of sand backed by cliffs up to 300 feet high and popular with surfers for its Atlantic swell. The coast path toward Rame Head gives clear views to the Eddystone Lighthouse, about 10 miles offshore. These distances make driving the practical option for most beach trips rather than treating the coast as immediately outside.

**Best for:** Six guests wanting coastline views, three distinct bedroom types, a private hot tub and a shared indoor pool.

**Less good for:** Guests travelling with a dog, visitors needing step-free access, or anyone wanting a beach on foot.
