Three Views Lodge

Three-bedroom single-storey lodge inside Whitsand Bay Holiday Park on the Rame peninsula, the south-east corner of Cornwall above the cliffs at Tregonhawke. Sleeps six, with one en-suite double and two further bedrooms sharing a second bathroom. Decking with outdoor furniture and designated parking sit just outside.

The lodge is part of a holiday-park setup, so the appeal is the on-site facilities rather than a private garden. Heated pool and other amenities are within 0.1 miles. Wifi is in, plus dishwasher and washing machine. The lodge isn't dog-friendly. Single-storey layout suits guests who would rather not deal with stairs.

Whitsand Bay's 3-mile sandy beach is 3.3km away, accessed via steep cliff steps from the Tregantle and Sharrow car parks - lifeguarded sections operate in summer, rip tides are real, so stick to patrolled water. The colour-washed twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand sit 2.6km east, with pubs, a beach cafe, and the foot ferry to Plymouth in summer. Mount Edgcumbe Country Park and its 800-acre estate are a 10-minute drive. Plymouth is 10 miles east via the Tamar Bridge.

Best for families wanting on-site pool, single-level living, and the coast path on the doorstep. Less good for dog owners, anyone wanting a private garden, or guests who prefer a stand-alone cottage to a holiday-park setting.
