Bayview is a four-bedroom cottage in Portwrinkle on Whitsand Bay, on the south Cornish coast, sitting directly opposite the path down to the beach and the old harbour wall. The first-floor open-plan living room and decked terrace face the sea, with a built-in hot tub on the terrace and bench seating around a dining table. From GBP 1,195 per week, it sleeps six adults comfortably - or eight with two children in the bunk room.

The layout is inverted: four bedrooms and three bathrooms occupy the ground floor, while the kitchen, dining and living space sit above with the sea views. Two double bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms; a twin and a bunk room share the family bathroom with bath and separate shower. A mezzanine playroom sits off the kitchen end, with a window looking down into the living space below. Dogs are welcome throughout.

Outside, the rear enclosed garden has a lawned area, washing machine and tumble dryer in a laundry outhouse, and EV charging. Private parking and wifi complete the practical setup.

Portwrinkle is a compact coastal hamlet on the Rame Peninsula, with the beach directly across the lane. Looe is around 7 miles east; Plymouth and the Tamar crossings are roughly 12 miles. The South West Coast Path runs through the village in both directions.

Best for two families or a group of adults wanting sea views, a hot tub and direct beach access in a less-commercialised corner of east Cornwall. Less suited to guests who prefer walking distance to restaurants and shops.
