Willow Cottage is a one-bedroom stone cottage at Bennetts Court in Whitstone, sleeping two in a king-size room with one bathroom. Exposed beams run beneath a vaulted ceiling inside, and the stone exterior fits the deeply rural setting between the coast and inland Cornwall.

A private patio and garden look across open countryside, and parking and a washing machine are included, with dogs welcome. There is no Wi-Fi, dishwasher or fire, which makes this a simple, quiet bolthole rather than a fully-kitted base - the kind of stay chosen for the view and the silence.

Bude is around 8 miles to the north-west and Launceston around 11 miles east, so coast and market town are both practical outings. For sand, Widemouth Bay is 4.5 miles away, Millook Beach is 5 miles and Summerleaze Beach is 6.1 miles, with the South West Coast Path running that whole stretch.
