Woodmans Cottage

Woodmans Cottage sits in the Goldenbank part of the Pendra Loweth holiday village, 3 miles from Falmouth. The village has a pub and restaurant on site, and a beach is 1 mile away.

Inside, the kitchen, dining area and sitting area share one open-plan room. The kitchen has an electric oven and ceramic hob, a microwave, fridge, washer/dryer and coffee machine, and the living area has a smart TV, WiFi and a selection of books. There are three bedrooms, two doubles and a twin, so six people fit. A bathroom with a bath and shower over it is joined by a separate cloakroom with a basin and WC. Electric heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent, and a highchair is available.

Outside is a patio with garden furniture and a barbecue, and there is a communal lawn. The park's shared splash and plunge pool is about 3 metres square and 1.4 metres deep, and holds four people at a time. Its opening, along with the bar, restaurant and Jacuzzi, is seasonal, usually from the start of April to the end of October, while the tennis court, gym and children's play area stay open year-round. There is allocated parking for one car, and a charging point for electric vehicles is available.

The rules are worth reading before booking: no pets and no smoking, no sign-written vans or commercial vehicles on the park, and no bookings for work or business trips. The owner's own pets visit the cottage, so it is less good for anyone wanting a completely pet-free stay. Families and friends sharing suit it best, with laundry facilities on site.
