Woolstone Grenvilles Granary is a converted stone cottage near Widemouth Bay, sleeping six across three bedrooms on a working leisure estate. The cottage has a ground-floor double bedroom with an en-suite shower, on the same level as the lounge and kitchen-diner. Dogs are welcome (up to two), and parking is included.

Inside, the ground floor covers the lounge, kitchen-diner and a double bedroom with en-suite shower. Exposed stone walls and French doors run through the lounge, and the kitchen-diner has a family-sized dining table, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Upstairs, a king-size bedroom has a TV and en-suite shower, and a twin bedroom shares the family bathroom with bath and shower attachment.

Outside, the enclosed garden has a lawn, patio and garden furniture, with direct access to the adjacent woodland and the estate's coarse fishing lakes. On-site facilities include river trout fishing, an indoor tennis court, a games room, a children's playroom, a woodland walk and a kite-flying field. Widemouth Bay beach sits 1.5 miles away, Millook Beach 2.7 miles, and Summerleaze Beach in Bude 3.2 miles.

Widemouth Bay itself is a wide, sandy beach with surf on its southern end and rock pools to the north. Bude, reachable in eight minutes by car, has shops, pubs and restaurants along with a golf course, the sea pool, the Bude Canal and a leisure centre. The Devon border is 10 minutes away, giving access to Hartland and Welcombe Mouth.

Best for groups wanting a ground-floor en-suite bedroom, and for dog owners bringing up to two dogs into the enclosed garden. Less suited to those wanting to walk to the beach - Widemouth Bay is 1.5 miles away and the on-site leisure facilities are the more immediate draw. Guests who need step-free access should check with the owner before booking.
