Wren Cottage

Wren is a one-bedroom stone cottage in Trenale, a small hamlet just outside Tintagel on the North Cornwall coast. It forms part of a group of eight converted cottages arranged around a landscaped courtyard, each with its own enclosed private garden and shared access to a paddock - useful for guests travelling with dogs.

Inside, the layout is compact and suits two guests, with a single double bedroom and a living space furnished for couples. Parking is available on site. The shared paddock gives dogs room to stretch out, and the enclosed private garden means evenings can be spent outdoors without worrying about roads.

The location puts Tintagel village within walking distance, along with the cliffs and ruined Tintagel Castle that sit on the headland below it. Bossiney Cove is the nearest beach at 1.3 km, reachable on foot via a signposted coast-path descent. Tregardock lies 4.9 km to the south, and Port Gaverne is about 9.9 km further down the coast toward Port Isaac.

The surrounding stretch of North Cornwall is walking country first - Rocky Valley, the coast path to Boscastle and the beaches around Trebarwith Strand are all within reach of the cottage by car or on foot.
