Wren Flat St Ives

Wren Flat St Ives is a compact one-bedroom apartment for two, set in a former fisherman's cottage directly above St Ives harbour. Period character and a nautical theme run through the interior, and one bathroom serves the flat. The lounge has a TV and board games, the kitchen has an electric oven, microwave and fridge, and the bathroom is a shower room with a shower and WC.

Dogs are welcome. Steps lead down towards the town from the building, which will matter to guests with limited mobility.

Porthgwidden Beach, Porthmeor Beach and St Ives Harbour Beach are all around 300 metres away, putting three very different beaches within easy walking distance. St Ives' galleries, cafes and restaurants are also close by, and the St Ives guide covers the wider town. With all three beaches, the harbour and the town's galleries and restaurants within a few minutes' walk, the flat works well as a base for a car-free stay. The nearest beach, Harbour Sands, is just across the road, and Tate St Ives, Porthminster Gallery and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden are all close by.

**Best for:** a couple wanting a compact, central harbourside base, three nearby beaches and room for a dog.

**Less good for:** guests needing step-free access.
