Cornwall Pride is the county’s biggest LGBTQ+ celebration and one of the largest free Pride events in the South West. The 2026 main event is in Truro on Saturday 18 July, building on a decade of growth that’s seen attendance climb into the thousands. The parade winds from Hendra Park through St George’s Road and River Street to Lemon Quay, where the afternoon’s celebration takes place on the open square in the heart of the city.

The parade gathers from 11.45am at Hendra Park and sets off at noon. Marchers carry the world’s largest Pride flag - a Cornwall Pride trademark - alongside group banners, sound systems, and a rolling stream of community organisations, sports clubs, choirs, and businesses showing public support. The procession reaches Lemon Quay around half past noon, after which the festival kicks in: live singers, drag performers, comedians, dancers and DJs run a full programme on the main stage from 12.30pm until 6pm.

Truro’s high-street shops, cafes and pubs decorate for the day, and the Pride flag flies from civic buildings. Food and drink stalls fill the quay, and a separate 18+ bar runs alongside the all-ages main entertainment area. The city centre is busy throughout - park-and-ride from Park Langarth or Tregurra is the easy option, since central streets close for the parade route.
