Malpas has a pub and a shop within 0.1 miles of the cottage. The village sits at the confluence of the Truro and Tresillian rivers, and a waterside walk connects to Truro city centre. Truro Cathedral, the Pannier Market and the independent shops on Lemon Street are all a short drive or bus ride away.
