Ashwood bed and breakfast

Ashwood is a bed and breakfast in Shortlanesend, a small village five minutes off the A30 on the edge of Truro. The double room is upstairs in a detached family house, with its own en suite, balcony and garden views. Truro Cathedral is 2.5 miles away.

Rooms aren't cleaned mid-stay on short bookings, though longer stays get fresh towels and a bathroom refresh. Best for couples wanting a quiet village base on Truro's edge, close to the A30 for exploring the rest of Cornwall. Less good for anyone wanting a cooked breakfast or an evening meal on site, since the kitchen offers continental breakfast only.
