Little Chygowlin

Little Chygowlin is a one-bedroom cottage in Killiow, on the edge of the Carnon Downs area south of Truro, sleeping two with one bathroom. The ground floor is accessible. An open fire and BBQ are both available, and there is an enclosed garden. Parking and a dishwasher are included. Equipment includes an electric oven and ceramic hob, a microwave, a fridge and a washer/dryer. There is also a Smart TV, WiFi, a DVD player and a selection of books.

The property sits in a mid-Cornwall position that gives reasonable reach to both the north and south coasts. Castle Beach in Falmouth is 6.1 miles, as is St Mawes on the Roseland peninsula. Truro city centre is roughly 15 minutes north by car, with its cathedral, mainline station, and the Royal Cornwall Museum among the reference points for a base here.

The Killiow golf course is less than a mile away for guests who play. The Carnon Downs cycle trail network connects to the Bissoe Trail and the Portreath-to-Devoran route. One well-behaved pet is accepted.

Best for couples wanting a quiet rural base with solid amenities, in easy range of both Falmouth and Truro. Saturday changeover. Check-in is from 3:00 pm on arrival day and check-out is by 10:00 am on departure day.
