Polperro Festival returns from 19 to 27 June 2027, bringing music, art and community events to this south-coast fishing village. The nine-day festival spans two weekends. Its individual performances and venues are still being arranged, so wait for the programme before choosing a day around a particular act.
Art has a place alongside the music in Polperro. The Polperro Arts Foundation takes part in the annual festival, with local artists and volunteers involved in village events. The 2027 programme will set out what is happening each day and whether any activities need advance booking.
Planning a village visit
Polperro’s lanes run downhill towards the harbour. Cars are kept out of the inner village, with visitors parking at Crumplehorn and continuing on foot. Allow for the uphill return when deciding where to stay, particularly if you expect to leave after an evening performance.
Between events, the Polperro Art Trail gives another way to look around the harbour. QR codes connect historic paintings with the views in front of you. It is separate from the festival timetable, so you can follow it at your own pace while waiting for a performance.
Where to stay
Use the Polperro village guide to plan time around the harbour and browse places to stay near Polperro. A June festival stay is separate from the village’s winter Lantern Parade; check the dates for each before booking travel.
