The Stithians Show is one of the largest one-day agricultural shows in the United Kingdom, held each July on the showground near Stithians, between Truro, Redruth and Falmouth. First staged in 1834, it regularly draws more than 20,000 visitors, competitors and traders for a full day of farming, food and entertainment. In 2026 it falls on Monday 13 July.
The competitive heart of the show is its livestock, with classes for cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, poultry, rabbits and cavies, alongside a horse show, show jumping, and a dog show with agility. Away from the rings there are sections for arts, craft and cookery, horticulture, and Young Farmers’ Club events. The St Stythians Band plays from the bandstand through the day, the Taste of Cornwall area gathers local food producers, and two trade-stand areas, a craft marquee and a fairground fill out the 65-acre site. Children can follow the Sunflower Trail of hands-on activities for rosette rewards.
The showground moved to its current home at Kennal Farm in 1992, giving it permanent parking, water and power. An evening concert in the Farmer’s Kitchen marquee rounds off the day from 8pm.

Dates: Monday 13 July 2026. Car parks open 7am, gates 8am, show closes 6pm.
Cost: Advance adult £18 (until 30 June), £20 on the gate; child (5-16) £4.50; family £41 in advance; under 5s free. Half price after 3pm, free after 4pm. The evening concert is £10 on the door.
Getting there: The showground (TR3 7DP) is about 7 miles from Redruth and Falmouth and 10 miles from Truro, signed from the A30, A39, A393 and A394. Free general parking opens at 7am, with ringside parking at £20. Bus route 36 runs directly to the showground.

Where to Stay
The showground sits in the triangle between Truro, Redruth and Falmouth, so any of the three works as a base.
