A ground-floor apartment in the Four Seasons complex in central Carbis Bay, 400m from the Blue Flag beach. Two bedrooms sleep 4: a double with direct patio access and a twin, sharing one bathroom with walk-in shower. Both the front and rear patios have distant sea views across the bay. Air source heat pump heating keeps the apartment warm through the colder months, and a dishwasher and washing machine are included. Designated off-road parking for one car is allocated.

The beach at Carbis Bay is a broad arc of sand sheltered from northerly swell - it holds Blue Flag status for water quality. Carbis Bay Hotel, 400m along the seafront, operates a beach club and restaurant open to non-residents during summer. Porthminster Beach in St Ives is 2.2km along the South West Coast Path, passing above the railway line and the Hayle Estuary estuary mouth.

St Ives town centre - with the Tate gallery, Porthmeor surf beach, and a range of restaurants along the Wharf - is 2.2km by path or a short ride on the St Ives Bay Line, which stops at Carbis Bay station 500m from the apartment. The branch line has been running since 1877 and offers sea views the entire journey.

Good for couples or a small family who want a quiet, residential base within walking distance of two beaches and a rail connection to St Ives. Not suited to guests wanting nightlife - Carbis Bay is residential in character and quiet after dark.
